As you correctly note – Judge Kemp “has taken extensive heat (primarily from the African-American community) for stepping off of the bench to hug Guyger,”…a convicted murderer.

The truth is, I hadn’t watched any of her post-trial interviews until now. I watched this video and also the video of her interview with Tamron Hall. Count me NOT impressed with her explanation.

Here are the key questions I’d like to ask her: How many other convicted murderers has she hugged? Given a bible and/or words of encouragement to? And of those convicted murderers how many were Black?
