Good Lord. Stop posting about the Church from the viewpoint of an outsider.

1. You don't do it justice because you have no idea what you're talking about.
2. No one who comments on these posts has anything insightful or constructive to say about the Church.
3. There's no such thing as liberal or conservative Catholics. You either follow Church teaching or you don't.

You can't politicize a religion that's almost 1800 years older than this country.
So stop trying to.

I try to temper my words concerning any *faith* that is not my own (I'm not Catholic). But this takes the cake…smh.

In short, I agree with BD. At least this Pope does appear to be trying to make a real difference.

The issues many of the "Old" Catholics have with him/his actions, IMO, is their problem. Many of not most of those same OLD Catholics stood by and did nothing, SAID NOT A WORD, while various kinds of abuses, criminal activity and corruption went on under their very noses. And yet they have the audacity to be angry with this Pope for trying to do the right thing in hopes of cleaning up the Catholic Church and its horrible image!?!

I had my doubts about him at first but this pope seems like he's really trying to make a difference. He might be doing too much to soon because all the old Catholics are pis*sed at him already. But the way they have their church set up he can do whatever he wants to do so theres nothing nobody can do.
