In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans. But now, only 5 years later, things are really looking up for the city affectionately known as “THE BIG EASY.”
Fresh off its stunning Superbowl win last week, New Orleans kicked off Mardi Gras this week with the celebration known as FAT TUESDAY. Here now are photos of the festivities proving the resiliency of the people of Louisiana:
