My grandmother was a really good seamstress and she sewed all the time. But I don’t recall her ever using a “tomato” straight-pin holder.

She loved hard candy and kept a mid-size bowl of it in her living-room all year round. But it was always fresh not old and stale. She also loved chocolate and I am definitely a chocaholic…Lol

We did use that kind of icetray when I was really young. However, when my parents bult their home and moved us to the suburb they bought a modern refrig with an icemaker in the freezer.

Both, my grandmother and mother kept a book of telephone numbers. My grandmother kept hers updated. My mother didn’t…Lol

I don’t recall if my father and grandfather used 2 different keys for the ignition and trunk. Maybe they did(?)

My grandfather certainly used his bank ledger and took it with him to the bank. He taught my mother how to balance her checkbook by age 12.

Okay I’ll start with pic #1: I can honestly say, when I was growing up, No One that I personally knew had furniture that looked like that in their home. Not even in their family room…lol

The same for pic #2: No one that I knew had a kitchen floor with that kind of linoleum. But the kitchen table is interesting..lol. I pride myself on having a pretty good memory, going back to the age 3. And I’m pretty sure, when I was very young, we ate a kitchen table similar to the pic shown. But by about age 6 my parents had definitely upgraded to a more modern kitchen set.

My mother and grandmothers never even looked at a crockpot, let alone buy one!

And absolutely “NO” to that bedroom dresser and mirror…Lol
